Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Back On Sale is a trading name of Akvile Luksaite (sole trader), of Bowen Suite, The Globe Centre, 1 St. James Square, Accrington, BB5 0RE. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions about how we use your data, or want to exercise your data protection rights, contact us at info@backonsale.co.uk.

2. Information We Collect

To fulfill your purchases, we collect essential customer data during checkout, including your full name, email address, and delivery address. If you reside within our local Burnley delivery zones, we use this information to coordinate our drop-off routes.

3. Data Usage & Retention

We use your information strictly to process your payment, fulfil your order, and handle any post-purchase queries, returns, or warranty issues. We do not rent, sell, or distribute your personal details to third-party marketing companies.

Retention Period: We keep order records — including your name, delivery address, and email — for 6 years from the date of purchase. This reflects UK tax and accounting record-keeping obligations for a sole trader business, and also lets us help with any delayed returns, warranty claims, or dispute resolution. After this period, the records are permanently deleted. If you'd like us to delete personal data that isn't subject to this legal retention requirement, contact us at info@backonsale.co.uk and we'll action it.

4. Payment Security

All online payments are securely processed through our dedicated payment partner, Stripe. Your credit card information is encrypted directly through their infrastructure and is never handled or stored on our servers.

5. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to manage your shopping cart session and to ensure secure payment processing via Stripe. These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and do not track your personal browsing habits for marketing purposes.
